Getting started

1. Open the app and run Install data model once.
2. Enter your manufacturer details. If the manufacturer is outside the EU, the app will ask for an EU Responsible Person as required by GPSR Article 19(b).
3. Click Apply to all products.
4. On the app home, click Add block to product page. The theme editor opens with theComplyft GPSR block added — position it and click Save.
5. Use Compliance check to see which products are still missing information.

Frequently asked

Nothing appears on my product page

The block must be added in the theme editor. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize, open a product page, and add the Complyft GPSR block, or enable the app embed under theme settings.

Where does the product identification come from?

From each product's SKU and barcode in Shopify. Add them to the product variants in your Shopify admin; nothing needs to be entered in the app.

Who counts as the manufacturer?

The company that actually made the product — not necessarily you. If you resell or source from a factory, enter that company’s legal name and contact details.

Do I need an EU Responsible Person?

If the manufacturer is not established in the EU, yes. This is usually your EU importer, fulfilment partner, or a dedicated EU representative service.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?

Compliance data is stored in your own store as metafields and metaobjects, so it stays with you. We delete our session record for your store.
